Description
Bite-sized Mexican churros made crispy in an air fryer, coated in cinnamon sugar. Quick, family-friendly, and perfect for snacks or parties with optional chocolate or caramel dips.
Ingredients
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (such as Pillsbury Grands)
ยฝ cup granulated sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
ยผ cup melted butter (can substitute vegan butter)
Optional: ยฝ cup chocolate sauce or caramel sauce for dipping
Instructions
Unroll biscuit dough and separate into 12-16 small pieces
Preheat air fryer to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) for 5 minutes
In a bowl, mix granulated sugar and ground cinnamon
Coat each dough piece halfway in the cinnamon-sugar mixture
Place on air fryer basket, brushing tops with melted butter
Air fry for 7-8 minutes until golden and crispy
Repeat with remaining pieces, adding more sugar mixture and butter as needed
Notes
Use parchment paper to prevent sticking
For extra crispiness, cook in two batches
Optional dips: store Nutella or homemade caramel sauce on the side
Biscuit dough should ensure no pork/lard content
