Ingredients
2 slices bread
1 cup cooked chicken shredded
1/4 cup BBQ sauce
1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or mozzarella
2 tablespoons butter
Optional jalapenos or onions
Instructions
1. Mix shredded chicken with BBQ sauce in a bowl.
2. Place half of the cheese on one slice of bread.
3. Add BBQ chicken mixture evenly on top.
4. Add remaining cheese over the chicken.
5. Top with second slice of bread.
6. Heat skillet over medium heat.
7. Melt butter in skillet.
8. Place sandwich in skillet and cook until golden brown.
9. Flip and cook the other side until cheese melts.
10. Remove from skillet, slice, and serve hot.
Notes
Use rotisserie chicken for faster prep.
Do not overfill the sandwich.
Cook on medium heat to melt cheese evenly.
