Ingredients
4 cups watermelon, cubed
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
1 cup tequila
1/2 cup triple sec
Ice cubes
Salt or sugar for rim
Watermelon slices for garnish
Instructions
1. Combine sugar and water in a saucepan and heat until dissolved
2. Add watermelon and simmer for 10 minutes until softened
3. Remove from heat and let mixture cool
4. Blend the candied watermelon until smooth and strain to remove pulp
5. Add watermelon syrup, lime juice, tequila, and triple sec to a shaker
6. Fill with ice and shake well until chilled
