Description

Grilled Cheese Hot Dogs combine buttery toasted bread, melty cheese, and savory hot dogs into one irresistible comfort food. You create a crispy, cheesy, and satisfying meal perfect for quick lunches or family dinners.


Ingredients

4 slices bread

4 hot dogs

4 slices cheese cheddar or American

2 tablespoons butter

Optional ketchup mustard relish diced onions


Instructions

1. Preheat skillet over medium heat.

2. Place cheese slice on one slice of bread.

3. Add hot dog on top of cheese.

4. Add another cheese slice over the hot dog.

5. Top with another slice of bread to form sandwich.

6. Spread butter on the outside of sandwich.

7. Place sandwich on skillet and cook until golden brown.

8. Flip and cook the other side until cheese melts.

9. Remove from skillet, slice, and serve hot.

Notes

Cook on medium heat to avoid burning.

Use a mix of cheeses for more flavor.

Do not skip butter for crispy texture.

Add bacon or jalapenos for variation.

Avoid thick bread slices for even cooking.
