Description
This homemade peach lemonade uses fresh peach syrup to naturally sweeten classic lemonade. The perfect balance of sweet and tangy makes this the ultimate summer refreshment for hot afternoons.
Ingredients
4 ripe peaches
1 cup water for syrup
1/2 cup honey or sugar
6 to 8 lemons
4 cups cold water
Ice for serving
Instructions
1. Cut ripe peaches into slices, removing pits but leaving skin on.
2. Combine sliced peaches, 1 cup water, and honey in small saucepan. Bring to simmer over medium heat and let bubble gently for about 10 minutes.
3. Pour peach mixture through fine mesh strainer into bowl, pressing on solids to extract all syrup. Discard peach pieces and skin.
4. Roll lemons on counter to soften, then cut in half and juice until you have at least 1 cup fresh lemon juice. Strain out seeds or pulp.
5. Pour lemon juice into large pitcher. Add 4 cups cold water and all the peach syrup.
6. Stir everything together until well combined. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
7. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh peach slices.

Ripe peaches make the best syrup with natural sweetness and rich flavor. Look for fruit that gives slightly when pressed.
