Description

Strawberry Lemonade blends sweet ripe strawberries with fresh lemon juice to create a bright, refreshing drink. You prepare a quick and flavorful beverage that is perfect for warm days and gatherings.


Ingredients

1 pound fresh strawberries hulled and sliced

1 cup fresh lemon juice

3/4 cup granulated sugar

4 cups cold water

Ice cubes

Fresh mint leaves optional


Instructions

1. Hull and slice the strawberries.

2. Blend strawberries with 1 cup of water until smooth.

3. Strain the mixture into a pitcher to remove seeds and pulp.

4. Add fresh lemon juice and sugar to the pitcher.

5. Stir until the sugar fully dissolves.

6. Pour in the remaining 3 cups of cold water.

7. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.

8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

9. Serve over ice and garnish with mint if desired.

Notes

Use ripe strawberries for best flavor.
