Description

Tuna Pasta Salad combines tender pasta, flaky tuna, and fresh vegetables in a creamy dressing. You create a quick, satisfying, and refreshing meal that works perfectly for lunches, dinners, or gatherings.


Ingredients

8 oz rotini pasta

1 can tuna drained

1 cup cherry tomatoes halved

1 cup cucumber diced

1/2 cup red onion finely chopped

1/2 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 teaspoon dried dill

Salt

Black pepper


Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

2. Cook pasta until al dente according to package instructions.

3. Drain and rinse pasta under cold water.

4. Chop cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion.

5. Add vegetables and drained tuna to a large bowl.

6. Add cooled pasta to the bowl.

7. Mix mayonnaise, lemon juice, dill, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl.

8. Pour dressing over the salad.

9. Toss gently until well combined.

10. Chill for 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.

Notes

Do not overcook the pasta.

Rinse pasta to stop cooking and prevent sticking.

Taste before adding extra salt.

Use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise for a lighter version.
