Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
4โ5 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
1ยฝ cups shredded cheddar cheese
ยฝ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
ยฝ tsp paprika
Salt & black pepper, to taste
ยฝ cup beef broth or water
ยผ cup milk (optional, for creaminess)
Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC)
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, cook beef until browned, then add onion and garlic
Thinly slice potatoes and layer them in a 9ร13-inch baking dish
Spread cooked beef mixture over potatoes
Sprinkle cheddar cheese evenly over the beef layer
Mix Parmesan, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper, then sprinkle on top
Pour beef broth or water and optional milk into the dish
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 50 minutes
Uncover and bake 10 additional minutes for golden top
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving
